Why is it always on so evilly late? No, I know why. It's because anything classed as 'cult' has an audience that'll watch it whenever it's on, so may as well put it in a horrible timeslot, isn't it? Bah. I'm still trying to catch up on all the sleep I missed from Channel 4 putting Babylon 5 on so late in 1997, too.

But it was worth staying up for, as always. I'm glad Connor got to be happy at last (and it didn't come a moment too soon - I appreciate he has very legitimate issues to work with, but I was beginning to wish he'd start working with them off-screen). And I would have agreed to the deal the minute Lilah mentioned Wolfram & Hart letterheaded notepaper, but on balance, Angel's way was probably better.

Speaking of Wolfram & Hart, do they have a plumbing department? Because our boiler has been slowly dying for a long, long time now, and it's getting into the time of year when you really need central heating, and two separate plumbers have 'fixed' it in a way that just made it get worse this week alone. Aaaagh. Now they're talking about taking up floorboards to find a leak. *sobs*

People on my f-list who are familiar with the wonder which is the Jossverse - and I know there's some of you out there - I need your help with an episode of Angel. I missed it and I need to know what happened, and I daren't go looking at episode guides (I don't even know the episode name) for fear of getting even more spoilered than I already am.

Anyway, I think we're on Season 4. Angelus is back, he's killed the big lava-beast thing, its boss is speaking to him through Cordelia - or possibly is Cordelia, things are hazy - who is blackmailing him with his soul. And at the end of last week's episode, Angelus bit Faith.

I missed last night's episode. Can someone tell me what happened? Pretty please? *bats eyelashes sweetly* (For the record, I used to love Angel, then got disillusioned with it at about the same time they switched it to a different TV channel and I lost track of the timeslot, then fell back in love with it in a big way a month or so ago due to my Wesley-fangirl housemate.)

I hereby renounce anything I might ever have said about Angel not being as good as it used to be. I don't know what season we're on, and I don't know what the episode was called, but they were trying to bring back Angelus so they could defeat that magma-demon thing and then they didn't and then everything all worked out happy and "Isn't it great to be a team, everyone!" - and then, the ending. Um. Wow.

Anyway. A 2am conversation about Spike, Angel, Hannibal Lecter and Heathcliff, and why the obsession with making the bad guys not-so-bad these days (which is a post for another day, but an interesting one) turned into a grumble about Wuthering Heights being seen as 'just a love story'. (As in - if you cut out half the book in your film adaptation so that Heathcliff is Not So Bad After All, Really, then it's boring.) And then sitting around all day waiting for some furniture to arrive, and couldn't get any work done, and was Thinking. (Plus, it's occured to me that the two other Delenn/Lennier shippers in the fandom (numbers are growing! yay!) have interesting Lennier posts, and I don't. Can't promise this one will be as interesting or anything, and it turned out to be more about Delenn than Lennier, but here it is anyway.)

So:

Delenn, Lennier, Sheridan, and what I think that whole thing was about. )
