Why is it always on so evilly late? No, I know why. It's because anything classed as 'cult' has an audience that'll watch it whenever it's on, so may as well put it in a horrible timeslot, isn't it? Bah. I'm still trying to catch up on all the sleep I missed from Channel 4 putting Babylon 5 on so late in 1997, too.
But it was worth staying up for, as always. I'm glad Connor got to be happy at last (and it didn't come a moment too soon - I appreciate he has very legitimate issues to work with, but I was beginning to wish he'd start working with them off-screen). And I would have agreed to the deal the minute Lilah mentioned Wolfram & Hart letterheaded notepaper, but on balance, Angel's way was probably better.
Speaking of Wolfram & Hart, do they have a plumbing department? Because our boiler has been slowly dying for a long, long time now, and it's getting into the time of year when you really need central heating, and two separate plumbers have 'fixed' it in a way that just made it get worse this week alone. Aaaagh. Now they're talking about taking up floorboards to find a leak. *sobs*

Date: 2004-10-13 12:14 pm (UTC)I saw a few Season 3 episodes but could never quite warm up to it again. Just as I hated the later seasons of Buffy. Probably that is why my vampire-related mega x-over leaves Jossverse canon shortly before the end of Angel's second season. But I prefer the Kindred: The Embraced universe anyway.
You could post your own vampire-related shipping list to Otherworlds, you know. There are way too few vampire people over there... Thanks for the "Elf of my choice", BTW.

Date: 2004-10-15 04:26 am (UTC)My Jossverse stories:
An unspoilery Angel story which was written at your present state of canon, which remains a favourite of mine:

An even earlier story, exclusively about Darla:

I've written several more, including some dealing with the Sunnydale characters, but I don't know whether you've watched BTVS as well, and if so, whether you've watched the entire thing, which is necessary for at least one of them.

Date: 2004-10-15 07:33 pm (UTC)I've seen pretty much every BtVS episode up until about mid-season 6, then some at random intervals after that.( I didn't see the last episode, but thanks to a housemate who did and has a better memory than I do, know what happens right down to large chunks of dialogue.)

I'm also somewhat fond of my first attempt at the Five Things Which Never Happened... format, which I wrote about Warren:
