You lie, BBC Weather. This is not four-to-six inches of snow by the end of the day. This is eight inches of snow overnight, and no snowploughs, and no gritters.

On the other hand, it's very good for jumping in.

Meanwhile, I am watching BSG 2.19. Six can see Baltar!

5.02: Wait, ten weeks ago from one year ago? Ten weeks ago from present?

5.06: Oh, right. Is Cally a Cylon? Because she shot Boomer and she couldn't attack the other Cylons on Kobol, and it would be very useful for the Cylons to have an agent who works with the ships...

8.09: "And you know what, this is a great chance to cleanse. You get a new body, a new life... And anything you've built up, like anxieties, or remorse, or guilt - just let it wash away." While robots plant trees in the background. See, what happened to all the interesting robots and emotions and (literal!) world-building material in the last half-a-season? This is why I fell in love with it.

11.15: I love the light on Caprica. Maybe it wouldn't seem unusual without the Galactica setting as a contrast, but this harsh, bright atmosphere is so striking. (And I don't care if I'm the only person in the fandom who liked Cylon-occupied Caprica the first time round.)

12.20: Those lungs sound pretty developed to me...

16.19: Snarky ghost Baltar is wonderful. It seems like his personality is closer to ghost-Six than it is to human-Baltar, though (and the same with Six), and he can do everything ghost-Six can do, so presumably her existence isn't connected to her being a Cylon? Does that mean ghost-Baltar and ghost-Six have the same kind of goals, whatever they are?

29.04: Aw, Six and guilt and love. It's weird; Six was the one thing I loathed about the miniseries (back when she was 'pretty robot who seduces men only to betray them and destroy their world'), but not once ghost-Six started telling Baltar about how God loved the Cylons more. But if ghost-Six isn't really Cylon-Six... I still like this Cylon-Six a lot.

31.06: The baby dies? Now how does Baltar betray humanity again? (Or doesn't he? I suppose he's betrayed humanity once back on Caprica, so there's really no need for him to end up leading the Cylons like Baltar in the original series. Hm.)

34.17: Oh. Okay.

35.10: Broken machines think they're human?

42.01: After the Cylons basing so much around that question for all we've seen up to this point, I love that the Caprica scene ended with two Cylons saying "We're alive."
