Well, I'm glad at least you liked it. I'm a hardcore fan of the original, so I'm not going to watch it, even if it comes to German TV. I've nothing against continuations - I happen to love TNG and DS9, despite being a rabid Original Trek fan - but for me a remake on this scale (and with those changes) is a sacrilege. Yes, I'm weird in my ways, what can I do?
