I did that with The Sopranos. Half a season of "Wait, who's he? With the what? But why are they doing that? Isn't she dead? Where did the ducks go?" before my ex gave up trying to explain what was going on.
Does the Stargate Program become public knowledge? I'm trying to work out whether or not I'd want to know if there was a species of evil parasitic aliens out to get me... I think I'd be watching that documentary pretty damn carefully, though.
