That episode was so incomplete. Gramercy for an excellent addition to it.

I'm tempted to say this is far and away the best D/L story you've written, but perhaps in a moment when I go back and reread them all I'll change my tune. Still, the point is that this is really good.

Delenn comes across as being intelligent and pointed, but just as clever was her attempt at the end to turn it all into a Learning Experience.

Lennier is so real in this. The things he despairs over---being complimented as an aide, her look of surprise when he forgets something---are so easy to relate to. A great minor detail: Lennier thinking Delenn is like sacremental wine.

That sleeping face! Some day a list should be made of various people's guesses at what Lennier looks like then. I'm still not sure about what Delenn saw (ie, how much is she saying), but I also love the idea that, basically, he has just his ordinary expression. What a disappointment that would be to him, truly... I think most of all he must wish for the mask of fire [livejournal.com profile] deborah_judge gave him.
