Yeah - since most of Lennier's unworldliness (for lack of a better word) in the first season comes to light when he's interacting with aliens, I wanted to give some sense of him being completely out of his depth in a situation that only involved Minbari. Even before Delenn's transformation, that must've been quite a steep learning curve.
