Eh, I read Never Let Me Go at the end of semester, and that didn't reduce me to tears even though I was walking around like a bad-tempered zombie fuelled entirely by caffeine and guilt. It's just not a reaction I ever have to books/films/TV. Not that I don't find them sad, or that they don't affect me on any kind of emotional level... I'm just not much for crying.
