As for Mary Magdalene, I think the fact that Jesus sent her to the male apostles to announce His resurrection is proof enough that she should be considered a true apostle. *shrugs*

Yeah, and I can't see any version of the she's-important-because-she-had-secret-Jesus-babies theory being an improvement on that. And yet, I'm supposed to see it as some kind of ultra-liberating feminist truth? Um... right. I think not.
